Coffee Morning raised over £1400 in aid of NCH-IOM
Over £1,400 was raised in aid of NCH-IOM at our coffee morning held on Saturday morning (14th Nov) in the Promenade Church Hall on the Loch Promenade, Douglas.
The money was raised from a Raffle, Cake Stall and Book Stall as well as goods from Nepal including items made by the women in our Handicraft Centre.
There was great turn out despite the weather and we would like to thank all of you who supported this event.
Visit by Joanna Lumley, OBE
Our patron Joanna Lumley, OBE has paid a visit to Namaste Childern's House in Pokhara during her recent trip to Nepal. Joanna was reportedly very impressed with the high standard of love and care the orphans receive. More photos on our News page.
Trip to Nepal in October 2009
We are organising a trip to Nepal in October 2009. If anybody is interested in joining us on this trip then please contact us as soon as possible. The dates for the trip are Oct 15 to Nov 02.
We will cater for all tastes, whether you wish to go trekking, explore the country, sunbathe or spend most of your time at the orphanage, there will be something for everybody and we guarantee it wil be a wonderful experience.
CD Launch - Organists of the Isle of Man
We have launched a CD in aid of Namaste Children’s House Isle of Man (NCH-IOM) which features Organists from around the Isle of Man
playing a selection of classical pieces. The cost is £10 per CD + p&p. If you would like a copy then please contact us.
